1. The Service

MindTrap AI is an educational game designed to help users recognize psychological influence tactics and cognitive biases used in advertising, headlines, and social media. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate educational content daily.

You acknowledge that:

• The Service is for educational purposes only and does not diagnose intent behind real-world messages
• Features may change, be updated, or be modified without prior notice
• No guarantees are made regarding continuous availability

2. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction)
• Use the Service only in compliance with applicable laws

If you are using MindTrap AI on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Anonymous Play

MindTrap AI does not require account creation or login. Game progress (streaks and scores) is stored locally on your device using browser localStorage. Anonymous session analytics are submitted to our servers with no personally identifiable information.

You are responsible for managing your own local data. Clearing your browser data will reset your streak and game history.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal, harmful, or abusive activities
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or misuse the platform or AI systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Abuse the API endpoints or attempt to overload the Service
• Misrepresent AI-generated educational content as professional psychological advice

We reserve the right to restrict access if these rules are violated.

5. Intellectual Property

MindTrap AI, including its software, design, trademarks, and branding, is owned by or licensed to i2L Tech and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding or trademarks without written permission.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

MindTrap AI uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) to generate educational content. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content is for educational purposes and may not perfectly represent real-world manipulation techniques
• No real brand names or political figures are intentionally used
• Content is provided “as is”
• The Service does not diagnose or assess the intent behind real-world messages

7. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party infrastructure including Supabase (database) and Anthropic (AI content generation). We are not responsible for third-party service availability or their respective terms and privacy practices.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to MindTrap AI if:

• You violate these Terms
• Required by law
• Necessary to protect the platform or other users

You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We disclaim all warranties, express or implied
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• Educational content should not be treated as professional psychological advice

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• i2L Tech will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any)

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless i2L Tech from claims arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as MindTrap AI evolves. If changes are material, we will update the “Last updated” date. Continued use means acceptance of the updated Terms.
